A.7B
High-rate lithium batteries such as traditional model aircraft batteries and starting batteries usually lack adequate battery protection mechanisms, but in principle all lithium batteries must be protected. A.7B's built-in battery management system (BMS) is equipped with a complete protection mechanism and cell balancing function to ensure safe use and long-lasting battery life.

Protection Function:
Protection functio | Descriptions |
Cell OVP | When charging, any single string of cell voltage reaches the preset protection threshold, the protection is triggered, and the Charge MOSFET (CFET) is turned off. |
Charge Over-current Protection | When charge current reaches the preset protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the CFET will be turned off. |
UTC/OTC | While in charging, when the battery pack temperature reaches the protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the CFET will be turned off. |
Pack UVP | When the total voltage of the battery pack is below the preset protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered and the discharge MOSFET (DFET) is turned off. |
Cell UVO | When the discharge of a single string of cell voltage is detected below the preset protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the DFET is turned off. |
OCD | When discharge current reaches the preset protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the DFET will be turned off. |
UTD/OTD | While in discharging, when the battery pack temperature reaches the protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the DFET will be turned off. |
Short Circuit Protection | When current value reaches the preset short-circuit protection threshold for a preset time period, the protection is triggered, and the CFET & DFET will be turned off, the battery pack will go into Power OFF. |
Charging outside the car:
In some cases, your battery may be over-discharged due to insufficient riding/driving, prolonged storage, or having additional accessories connected to the system that drain the battery when the vehicle is not running. In these cases Off - System charging may be required.
1.Use ONLY the approved 12.8V lithium-iron phosphate chargers with this battery. |
2.Make sure there is voltage presented at battery terminals (battery is not in Sleep Mode). Depending on the type of charger used, zero voltage at battery terminals may prevent the charger from detecting the battery. |
3.If the battery is in sleep mode, it can be wake up by pressing the button once. If it is still unable to accept charge, press the button for 2S. When the purple light displays, the battery shall be able to accept charge. |
4.Connect the charger to the battery to start charging and remove the charger when the battery is fully charged. |
